9 Last Minute Paleo-Inspired Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

The post 9 Last Minute Paleo-Inspired Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas appeared first on Paleo Flourish Magazine.

It’s getting close to Valentine’s Day, and while I agree it’s highly over-commercialized, it’s still fun to give and receive gifts. I encourage you to pick a different day to exchange gifts or to buy a small gift for yourself…just because.

But, if you’re like me and still trying to figure out what gift to get your loved one, then hopefully this list of Paleo-inspired Valentine’s Day gifts will help.

9 Paleo-Inspired Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

1. Homemade Paleo Chocolate Truffles

You can make these Paleo chocolate truffles (recipe here) and pack them in a nice gift box.

The recipe includes several different variations (including one with alcohol!). The chocolate truffles are quite easy (and fun to make) and are really delicious to eat.

Just remember to keep the box of truffles in the fridge so they don’t melt!

2. Paleo On The Go Gift Certificate

Give whoever does the cooking a break with a gift certificate to Paleo On the Go – they’ll deliver your meals direct to you (including autoimmune meal options too).

This is also a great gift if you’re looking to treat yourself. While cooking is fun, sometimes we all need a break and to get more rest. There are other local Paleo meal delivery services you can look into as well.

3. Essential Oils Gift Set

An Essential Oils set (along with a diffuser) will help you create a nice and relaxing atmosphere in your house every day.

The essential oils can also be used to make a massage oil as well as moisturizers, candles, soaps, and to scent baths. Check out this post if you want to learn more about essential oils and their uses.

4. Fitbit

If your loved one enjoys tracking their progress, then a Fitbit is fantastic. Both Jeremy and I use one daily and have weekly competitions with friends to see who walks the most. It definitely gets us both out and walking more.

5. 2-Person Far Infrared Sauna

This infrared sauna is an expensive gift, but it can be both healthy and fun to enjoy together!

Check out this article for some health benefits of saunas.

6. Table-Top Grill

Just because it’s cold outside shouldn’t mean you can’t get to enjoy grilling still. With this table-top grill, you can enjoy grilling all year round.

It’s also great for doing Korean barbecues at home and can be a fun way to gather the family around the dining table for a longer and more interactive meal.

7. Sunlight Lamp

It can be depressing in winter months to be stuck indoors without the sun. I got one of these lamps when I was working in New York in an office with no windows, and it helped me get through the winter months.

The lamps work by emitting light from the sunlight spectrum so that your body thinks it’s seeing the sun. If your partner has trouble getting up during the winter months because it’s still dark outside, then setting one of these lamps to light up slowly with their morning alarm could help them feel a lot more energetic.

8. Kite

I know this is a bit of an odd one, but Jeremy still raves about the kite I bought him as a gift 10 years ago! Flying a kite is a fun activity to do together – it gets you outside, gets you active, and provides hours of fun.

It’s a great way to be kids once more.

9. 5-Minute Journal

The 5-Minute Journal is a wonderful way to include more gratitude in your life – I would suggest getting one for each of you and if you can, fill them out together each morning and evening.

The 5-Minute Journal is also available as an app, but personally I think it’s way nicer to actually write things in a physical journal.
