Italian Fiordilatte Gelato – Super easy creamy ice cream

Summer is coming and it’s time for ice cream! Who does it best? Well, I guess Italians are pretty much at the top of the list. One the most famous classic and popular flavor her in Italy is Fiordilatte gelato. The best part of it: You’ll only need 3 ingredients and 5 minutes (without the time to freeze it obviously) to make it at home!
 
Who would have thought that make ice cream at home is so easy? Here’s the recipe for delicious creamy Fiordilatte ice cream which is by the way a great flavor for ice cream sandwiches! 

Preparation Time: 10 minutes                                        
Freezing Time: according to your ice cream maker 
  or about 4 hours                                                                
Ingredients (500 g ice cream):



  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 300 ml milk
  • 200 ml fresh cream

A pinch of fresh vanilla (optional)

 

Directions:

Mix sugar and cream and whisk until the sugar dissolved, now add the cream. I like to whip it a bit so it gets nice and creamy. Pour your mix in the ice cream maker and follow the instructions. Super easy, no?

If you want to give it a try without an ice cream maker I suggest you will a bowl with ice, place the bowl with the mix inside and stir. Then put it in the freezer and stir it every 30 minutes until frozen.
