These cumin Spiced Beef Wraps are really easy and quick to make, so you could be enjoying these for dinner in just 30 minutes. And to make it even simpler, you can omit the cabbage wraps and just enjoy the flavorful cumin beef sauté filling by itself.

Cumin Spiced Beef Wraps Recipe – Step-by-step Instructions and Photos

Step 1:

Dice the onion.

Step 2:

Dice the bell pepper (add in a jalapeno if you want to make it spicy).

Step 3:

Chop up the cilantro very finely.

Step 4:

Dice the cloves of garlic.

Step 5:

Chop up the ginger.

Step 6:

Place the coconut oil into a frying pan and add in the diced onion to sauté.

Step 7:

Add in the ground beef and sauté until cooked.

Step 8:

Add the diced bell peppers to the frying pan.

Step 9:

Add in the cilantro.

Step 10:

Add in the garlic and ginger.

Step 11:

Add in the cumin and salt and pepper to taste. Sauté for a few more minutes and then place into a bowl to cool slightly.

Step 12:

Peel off some large cabbage leaves. I find savoy cabbage or Napa cabbage leaves work best as wraps.

Step 13:

Fill a large pot 3/4 full with water. Bring the water to a boil. Using tongs, blanch each cabbage leaf in the boiling water. 20 seconds in the boiling water for each leaf should be enough.

Step 14:

Drain and place the cabbage leaves on a plate.

Step 15:

Spoon the beef mixture onto each lettuce leaf.

Step 16:

Fold the cabbage leaves up like wraps. Alternatively, if you don’t want to go to the trouble of making the wraps, you can just enjoy the cumin ground beef sauté by itself.
