- 1 cup sabudana / tapioca pearls
- 2 medium sized potatoes
- Red chili powder
- 2 tsp peanuts
- 2 tsp cashews
- 3 tsp oil
- Lemon juice as required
- Salt, to taste
- Coriander leaves
- 1 tsp garam masala
- ¼ cup potato sev
- Rinse sabudana in water, soak overnight. The same soaking process as we do for sabudana khichadi.
- Peel the potato. Cut them in thin slices.
- Heat a pan and dry roast peanuts, cashew nuts till they are crisp and golden brown. Remove and keep aside.
- Heat oil in the same pan. Fry potato slices. Remove and keep aside.
- In the same pan, add sabudana and stir continuously.
- Cook till sabudana become transparent, softened & completely cooked.
- Now mix the peanuts, cashew nuts, potatoes, coriander leaves, lemon juice, salt, red chilli powder.
- Serve the sabudana bhel in a plate with coriander & potato sev garnishing.
