Ginataang Malunggay At Sitaw


 As a Bicolano I always remember my youth when it comes to food trips. It's always vegetables in Coconut Milk is in the boodle . And this Ginataang Malunggay At Sitaw is one of most recipe we often cook. This one Simple Recipe is so easy to prepare.

Ingredients:
Coconut Milk (fresh from the fruit) or 1 Can Coconut Milk (400 mL)
2 Cups String Beans (Sitaw)
3 Cups Fresh Malunggay Leaves
2 Medium Size Onion (Sibuyas Tagalog) (Chopped)
2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
1/4kg Pork (Chopped Pang Sahog)
1 Pack seasoning granule
Salt and Chili Pepper

Instructions:
1. In a wok, boil pork in a small amount of water and cook until it turns golden brown.
2. Add oil and saute garlic and onion together with the pork.
3. Pour inn coconut milk and stir. Continue stirring until it boil.
4. Add string beans (sitaw) cook 2 to 3 minutes.
5. Add the malunggay leaves and continue to boil until the coconut milk reduces to your desired consistency
6. Add Chili Pepper (labuyo or pang sigang but optional)
Serve and Enjoy!
