To make this recipe you need the following ingredients.

Tuna salad:

  • Tuna
  • Egg
  • Mayonnaise
  • Mustard
  • Small red onion
  • Pickle
  • Parsley
  • Salt and pepper

Other:

  • Small flour tortillas
  • Tomato
  • Romaine lettuce

How To Make Tuna Salad Wraps

This is a really easy recipe. Wash the tomatoes and lettuce leaves and shake off any excess water.

Make the tuna salad by boiling the egg and prepping all the other ingredients in a big bowl.

Stir to combine the tuna salad.

Warm a tortilla in a seasoned cast iron skillet as you will not need any oil or butter.

Heat the tortilla when the skillet is hot and turn after 10 seconds. Bake this side for 10 seconds as well and take out of the pan.

Start layering the tuna wrap. First, add the lettuce leaves then a couple of big scoops of tuna salad.

Decorate with diced tomatoes, chives, or fresh parsley.

Roll it up very tight. Repeat for the remaining tortillas and serve immediately.

How to Store Tuna Salad Wraps

You can make this tuna salad wraps ahead of time. If you add lettuce to your wrap just store them in the fridge.

Store them in an airtight container or wrap in aluminum foil and store in the fridge for up to 2 days.

As lettuce does not freeze well it is not a good idea to freeze them.

How Do You Keep Tuna Wraps From Getting Soggy?

You can use mayonnaise as a moisture barrier. Take a tablespoon of mayonnaise and spread it on the wrap before adding the lettuce and tuna salad.

Make certain the lettuce is dry as well.

How Do You Keep Wraps From Falling Apart?

To keep wraps from falling apart warm your tortilla first. Put them in a hot skillet for about 10 seconds and flip to heat the other side as well.

You can also put them in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. Cover with a wet paper towel to keep them pliable.

If you have more tortillas that you want to microwave, stack them, and separate them with wet paper towels.

Then add your ingredients and roll up the wrap. Your tortillas will hold way better this way.

  • 4 tortillas
  • 5 cherry tomatoes
  • 6 romaine lettuce leaves
  • Tuna salad:
  • 7-oz can tuna (160-gram)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Small red onion finely diced
  • 1 pickle finely diced
  • 1 tablespoons parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
