It’s been a while since I created a post on this webpage, and I’ll explain why.

But first, if you are reading this, whether you are just finding this webpage or have been a long-time reader, thank you for visiting.

Primarily, the reason why I dropped away is because this webpage was hacked. I started this site as chowbellabycassie.blogspot.com in 2009, and the fact that someone, somewhere out there was working to destroy almost 10 years of work was devastating. Anyway, I did the work to clean up the site and allow it to be searchable via Google.

However, by then I started to divert my attentions to two other important factors going on: my career and my personal life.

Since then, I have grown a lot. I’ve gotten clear on both aspects of my life, and feel healthier and happier all around.

But in the back of my head was always the thought, “what am I going to do with Chow Bella Paleo”?

In addition to my diverted attentions, it also became clear to me that the label of “Paleo” had some limitations. There were other aspects of my life that I wanted to explore…fashion, travel, and the fact that I work in the Wine industry. In addition, wine seems to be frowned upon by the Paleo community. Also, I was healing physically, so some of the foods that were problematic that led me to the Paleo Diet initially weren’t such a problem. But I felt weird sharing non-paleo things on this platform.

Since then, I’ve worked 2 jobs, changed some things in my personal life, and moved twice, though I still live in the Napa Valley.

So now after nearly 2 years, I’m ready to talk about some of my ideas moving forward.

One, I started a YouTube channel on a whim and I am greatly enjoying this mode of communication.

I imagine retaining my current content, however merging it over to my new, more broad focus of what it’s like to live in Wine Country.

Until then, I’m going to be making videos at my new channel, That Wine Country Life. I can’t wait to see how this new concept grows.
