Living at 47!
If I had to define my life at 47, I would use one word – SOARING. I am at a place in my life where I am ready for a 360-degree Turn – I SOARING into this turn. I am ready for new adventures and new achievements. My upcoming move is a drastic one because I have spent the last 12 years in one place. I am leaving the Duke City like I left Memphis – quickly! I am so ready to see a different scenery, sense a different feeling, drive a different road, and enjoy a different locale. I am so ready to SOAR.
Soar - to ascend to a higher or more exalted level.
And where I am going, Southern New Mexico – Las Cruces. The area is so different from Central and Northern New Mexico. The skyline, the temperature, the people, even the food is different. I can't wait to experience all of the “New” things. I am so hyped for the future and to SOAR to new dreams and accomplishments.

So...what have I done this month to get ready to SOAR?
I have already landed another job in Las Cruces, so my job count is up to 3; I have already got an Area Code 575 phone number and a new phone; I am still paying bills down and off; my car is ready for the move; I am stacking money so I can take off the month of August; and I am still packing totes and sorting through stuff I no longer want.
Since turning 47 last August, I have focused my mind on my own personal development. I don't have a care in the world about petty things like other people's lives, regrets, things I have done in the past, etc. I am only looking at MY future. I am also on a mission to be the best version of myself. It is all about SOARING. Gone are the days of working myself to death and only focusing on where the next glass of wine is coming from. Gone are the days of trying to help others while I put myself last. Gone are the days of chasing others who don't care anything about me. It is time for me to SOAR!
