Stuffed Sheem

Stuffed Sheem is a unique and delicious recipe. If you or your family members like Flat Beens then definitely you guys like this recipe. Stuffed Sheem can be your evening snacks. In this dish Flat Beens are slit and stuffed with Chicken kima. So, isn’t nice?

INGREDIENTS
  • 5 to 6 sheem (flat beans)
  • 3 tbsp Chicken kima/means
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • ½ tsp Garlic paste
  • 1tsp Tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp besan (Gram flour)
  • 2 tbsp Rice poeder
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • Crushed Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Refine Oil

TIME REQUIRED : Less than 30 minutes

PROCEDURE

STEP 1

Take a bowl and make a thick batter with Besan, Rice Powder, Baking Soda, salt, Black Pepper and Water. Keep aside.

STEP 2

Heat little oil in a pan, add the chopped onions and garlic and sauté for few minutes.

STEP 3

Add Chicken, salt and Pepper. Now, sauté for few seconds. Cover the lid and Cook on low flame for another few minutes till the Chicken is soft.

STEP 4

Add Soy sauce and Tomato sauce and sauté for few seconds. The stuffing is ready.

STEP 5

Blanch the flat beans and pat dry. Top, low and string each of the Sheem. Gently slit along the edge of the bean with a sharp knife, creating a kind of pocket.

STEP 6

Take a spoon of the stuffing and carefully fill inside the bean. Repeat the same for all the beans and keep aside.

STEP 7

Heat some oil in a frying pan, dip each of the stuffed beans in the batter and fry till the color comes to golden. Now! your Stuffed Sheem is ready to Serve!
