It all begins with "The French Kiss," which sees a pair of young ballet dancers decide to 'adopt' a gentleman to be their slave. There's an element of fantasy to the situation, but the high heel torture, branding, CBT, and more may test some readers.

"Jason's Devotion" is softer on the violence and pain, but more than makes up for it with public humiliation. For all that I found myself squirming, embarrassed for Jason, I enjoyed this one immensely because of his absolution devotion to Katya.

"Strictly Evil" is, by far, the most creatively diabolical of all the tales in the collection, with Mistress Lori turning the tables on an office voyeur (with the boss' permission) and taking over his life. The task (and challenge) of drinking her dirty bathwater is just the beginning of what Jason must endure, and the storytelling twist at the end . . . damn, but that was unexpected!

Finally, "The Perishable Heart" gets back to gross-out territory, with a young woman enslaving a much older man and making him her garbage slave. This one's all about cruelty and degradation, not to my tastes, but the emotions are beautifully conveyed.

Harrison Warwick knows how to craft powerful women, and how to convey the desperation of truly submissive men, and that makes even the darker, crueler, more vile aspects of Pervy Femdom Tales From the Mind of Mr. Warwick something to appreciate.
