I've been Blogging here for a long time. This blog has been a part of most of my adult life, from the misadventures of my twenties to turning thirty to loving my thirties to now ambling towards my forties. I've written as a singleton, a newly coupled up person, a fiancée and a married lady (cue 'Sadie, Sadie'). Through ups, downs and all sorts of arounds, the blog has been a constant.

Which is why the quiet of the last few months has been uncharacteristic. Heck, if you've met me you'll know that any kind of quiet is pretty uncharacteristic (unless you hand me a book of course, Then I am as quiet as the mentioned country mouse). It's been a season of growth, change, decisions and rest, and as spring begins - not that you'd know it, observing the sheeting rain outside of my window! - it feels like time to return here. To writing, to sharing, to being a part of things once more.

I've had a think about how I want to proceed with this blog and am getting more and more of an idea of how I want to use this platform. More food, more travel, more teaching ideas. More interiors, more think pieces, more fun. More poetry, more London, more just because moments.

Just as much silliness.  Just as many cats.

I feel so lucky to have been blogging for as long as I have been, and am so grateful for all that blogging has brought to my life. Friends, experiences, laughter, and joy. It feels good to be back, and there will be more soon.  Happy Easter weekend, you gorgeous folk.
