Let’s Talk Fear

Tags: fear

Good day and welcome to my blog. Its time to face one of the most common and unnoticed epidemic that has plagued mankind for ages, Fear. Well, no fear, Dr Cromwell’s here. In this post, I’m going to be teaching you how to discover the symptoms to this disease as well as elaborating the reasons why you need to conquer your fears and finally, I’ll be giving you the vaccine to overcome this epidemic. We all have fears, so keep them in mind and try what I’ll teach in this article. You’ll soon see that your mountains will become a walk over.

I’m no stranger to this disease, in the past I considered it overrated but I was unaware that I was secretly a victim. Let me share my experience with you with hopes that you can learn a thing or two (besides who doesn’t like a good story). My inspiration for this poem is a concept we’re all very familiar with, Love. I had feelings for someone and it was quite obvious that the time to let her know was long overdue. Now, my case was so bad that I was well aware that the way out was to confess my feelings to her but this epidemic made the exit seem so scary to me. I thought I was being logical, but little did I know that this disease turned my mind into an excuse generator(lol) that ran only one fuel, Fear. The funniest part is that I was the factory worker and my job was gathering more fear to fuel my mind. Its funny to think my first ever job was a 24hr full time factory work with no pay all I got in return was confinement . Many of us aren’t growing or are unemployed whatever the circumstance may be because we’re too busy with this same full time job. I can feel a misconception brewing so let me dissolve it before its done. Its normal to discipline yourself, where there is no law there is no order so without discipline you’re nothing more than a properly dressed wanderer and I don’t think you’re one. But When the restrictions you set are hindering your growth, it is Fear. And that’s the major symptom to this disease.

Now, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that harbouring something hindering your growth in an ever changing world is bad for you. Another important reason to face your fears is that its very contagious. I was listening to T.D Jakes on my way to church a while ago and he was teaching about situations where you discover a problem somewhere whereas the root of the problem might be ………………….. way over there. Fear is that type of problem. It might be present in an aspect of your life and it will cause other aspects of your life seem defective. It makes you doubt your ability, affects your confidence and your esteem and then its so toxic, it spreads round its victim until it completely paralyses its victim hereby making you a prisoner in your own mind (scary right? but most of us are experiencing this).

Now, its time for you to receive the vaccine. Sorry, but there’s no part of the body you rub to get over fear or any secret word you repeat. To get over whatever fear you’re experiencing, you have to grab the bull by the horns and ask yourself this crucial question which life do you choose: one with unnecessary limits, where you’d be a prisoner in your own mind or do you pick a life lived to the fullest. I think I have a clue about the type of life we all picked so I’ll go on and say with this mindset, you are prepared to overcome whatever fear may come your way. Whenever fear comes your way, ask yourself that question and you’ll have feear running the other way in no time. Life is too short, so live it to the fullest. You owe it to yourself to be the best version of  you, you can be. This life is for everyone and belongs to no one, so overcome your fears and take control of life .

I hope this was useful to you . Don’t forget to leave your comments, they’re gold to me and if you haven’t followed yet, you’re wrong (lol) but please do.

Have a lovely day.
