Review of Dirty Money by Liliana Hart

After two people die under mysterious circumstances in King George County, Virginia, coroner J.J. Graves and her husband, Sheriff Jack Lawson, have more on their plates than they can deal with in Dirty Money.Jaye’s father, Malachi Graves, is still on the loose and causing havoc, while their good friend, Ben Carver, is in the hospital fighting for his life because of Malachi. If Jaye and Jack don’t deal with the threat to their lives soon, they may never get the happy marriage they were hoping for.

I really love Jaye and Jack. They’re still struggling with the new marriage thing, which isn’t helped by Malachi. I felt the lack of Ben this time around, but they have help in the form of his nephew, who has a computer just as good or better than Miranda. Malachi is a grade A asshole. Sometimes it’s hard to believe Jaye was raised by him. This book is not without it’s casualties, but it was a great addition to the series. And we got to meet Ben’s wife Michelle, who should probably be a saint.
