Review of A Ghostly Gift by Angie Fox

New ghost hunter Verity Long doesn’t intend to keep doing the job, but when her sister asks her to help a friend with a consignment shop who’s willing to pay Verity with much needed furniture, she can’t say no in A Ghostly Gift. There’s a ghost who keeps breaking expensive items in the shop’s locked cabinet and Verity stays after closing with her ghostly friend, Frankie, to discover the who and why if possible. Will Verity be able to solve the problem and reunite a lost love?

This is a great short story. Verity and Frankie make an interesting ghost hunting duo. Frankie just doesn’t want to be stuck only on her property and Verity just wants to have some furniture to sit on in her empty house. It does seem that the more Frankie helps her see the ghosts, the more she can see on her own, so you wonder if eventually she won’t need Frankie any more. But until that day, I’ll enjoy their interactions and the stories that go along with it.
