Review of Accidental Sire by Molly Harper

In the newest Half Moon Hollow story, Accidental Sire, college student Meagan Keene is the unfortunately victim of a horrible Ultimate Frisbee accidental and can only be saved by being turned into a vampire. Ben Overby was just getting to know Meg when the unexpected happened. But now he’s the victim of his own accidental turning when Meg wakes up early and bites him just once. It’s not supposed to happen like that and the vampire council’s own Jane Jamison-Nightengale steps in the foster the two new vampires and keep an eye on them while they figure out what and why it happened. Will their budding romance survive a stay under Jane’s roof?

I love everything Molly Harper writes and this is o exception. Ben and Meg really are cute together before the unfortunate ‘accident’. They have a geeky banter that is charming and endearing and it all goes to hell initially. So it’s great that they get it back towards the end. Add in Jane’s crazy friends and family and scary child vampire Georgie and it’s a great story all around. Even Ophelia is involved in the action and she hates everyone. Overall, this was another great read.
