Climate change

Climate change is something that should be seriously considered about because it is annihilating our life and our earth. Many people believe that Climate Change does not exist but it does. For millions of years, climate change has been around but since the introduction of humans, they have sped up the process of climate change to the extent where they are creating a hole in our ozone layer.

Climate change is not something to be mulled about or talked about. It should be heavily taken into precaution and action should be taken to stop the climate change of our earth, to stop the destruction of the ozone layer and to stop the extinction of organisms that were placed on this earth before humans even existed.

Governments all around the world for over centuries have devised plans to stop climate change. But unfortunately for those past 2 decades, the meetings and acts proposed have all failed. Simple things like keeping our earth’s temperature rising by 2 degrees or stopping heavily poisoned gas flowing into the atmosphere have failed. The earth has risen by 1 degrees, nuclear plants have continued. It is only now that the action has been taken place.

Finally after so many years, the governments all around the world have united in Paris to devise a plan to stop climate change. So many citizens marched around the world proving the existence of climate change. This pushed the meeting to the limit for something big to be discussed. To stop nuclear plants from exhaling poisonous gases into the atmosphere and to stop the earths temperature from rising.

Yes, humans are at fault for causing the climate change to speed up to process but there are also so many other people who care about the environment, who will take action to stop the climate change from happening. By walking kilometres to prove a point, speaking out in front of governments to make a change and lobbying against what is wrong.

We are a gift to this earth and we should not take that for granted. Instead, we should appreciate the small things we have. If you know that climate change exists but don’t do anything about it.. Start talking action. Actions include picking up rubbish or writing a letter to your local council to stop something bad.

Love the earth like you love yourself because by doing so something good in return will happen.
