The following animations were created in Autodesk Maya 2017 for my “Introduction to 3D Computer Graphics” class at Seton Hall University, Fall 2017 semester.
The character I created (for an exercise requiring a robot doing an action) was a bird robot – Birdy Bot! This 25-second animation, which is made of 600 images, simply shows the Birdy flying around. It’s a test flight (not just for Birdy Bot, but for me as well!)
For the final exercise project, I reused my robotic bird character in a 1-minute long animation “Trash to Treasure.” About 1230 images were used to make this video.
One thing I learned from this course is that a whole lot of work and effort goes into creating an animation, no matter how simple or short it may be. Have fun watching!
