Major Legal Services/Columbus, OH

Our client is a large company based in Columbus, OH and is the global leader in thermoset resins. They are seeking an experienced in-house attorney with at least 5-7 years experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts such as supply and sale agreements, non-disclosure agreements, joint development agreements, shipping or carrier agreements, contractor service agreements, etc. Preferred but not mandatory to have in-house experience with a large manufacturer and/or experience in chemical industry. Should be able to hit the ground running and work independently to efficiently and effectively manage a backlog of requests from the business to provide drafts of specific contracts based on internal forms, or review, analyze and negotiate contracts proffered by other parties. Must be efficient in time management and be able to juggle multiple projects on a daily basis and follow-through to completion on short time-frames. Will report to senior legal counsel, but must be able to work directly with business associates as well. Likely 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, but some flexibility in schedule depending on needs of attorney. Also, preferred, but not mandatory, to be able to work from Company headquarters in downtown Columbus.
