OVERVIEW
The operations trainer manages training functions and develops strategic policies, procedures and responsibilities for the operations training department of a company. The job involves implementing a company's operations training efforts via workshops, one-on-one sessions, and on-the-job training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Developing a training program for each department in the loan process. This includes opening, processing, underwriting, HVCC, closing, and post-closing.
Creating individual learning plans.
Performing training needs analysis for each department as well as each individual.
Delivering the training program either in-house, online, or off site.
Conduct orientation sessions for all new operation hires.
Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation team leads and supervisors.
Develop educational materials to aid in the training process. This includes brochures, manuals, or multimedia visual aids.
Conducting training for employees for continued learning. Employees should be recertified annually and kept up to date with any changes in the processes.
Researching new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presenting this research.
Performing evaluations of the training program through surveys and questionnaires to constantly improve the training program.
Traveling to outside locations may be required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
SKILLS
Strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work collectively with the administrative team associates
Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
Strong knowledge of technology associated with training
Able to give presentations to groups of all sizes
Use of Microsoft PowerPoint or another slide show presentation program
