IT Security & Compliance Manager

Tremendous opportunity for an IT Security & Compliance Manager to join a rapidly growing company where you can make an impact.

You will own security and compliance for technology (hardware, software, and network) and information for over 30 locations. Duties include security design and implementation, develop and create security policies, improve security processes (network, data security & compliance, encryption, HIPAA compliance), manage projects to mitigate risk, be part of the breach response team, monitor security trends and events, implement security & compliance training, strategic planning, manager security vendors, software and tools evaluation and selection, manage proof of concept projects, and keep executive team informed on security and compliance.

You will spend 50% of your time implementing new security solutions, 25% on compliance and security processes, and 25% responding to security issues. You will manage projects and vendors, however, will not have any direct reports.

You will work on a variety of projects including Data Loss Prevention, SIEM evaluation and selection, domain consolidation, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), HIPAA Remediation, acquisition projects (3 to 4 per year), and many more.

This is a direct hire position located in Midtown. You will have to travel 10% to 15% of the time to visit other offices and for meetings.
