Cole Law Group, located in Brentwood, TN, is currently seeking to add an experienced litigation paralegal to our team. If you are highly motivated, entrepreneurial, organized and enjoy working on multiple projects, this position is for you. Only applicants with civil litigation experience will be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide support to multiple attorneys

Must be proficient in drafting and responding to civil litigation pleadings

Draft correspondence and other legal documents

Must be proficient in drafting and responding to discovery

Familiar with the State, Federal and local rules of the Courts

Use Microsoft Office and other programs to assist in drafting of documents

Perform legal research via Westlaw and other resources

Assist with trial preparation and witness preparation

Support document management and e-discovery process

Assist with case management

Filing motions, orders and other documents

Qualifications:

Paralegal certificate or 2+ years of experience providing support to attorneys in a law firm environment

College degree preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Type at least 65+ wpm

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Independent worker with good problem solving abilities

Pleasant attitude and personable demeanor

Proficiency in viewing, annotating, and organizing documents in a legal support software environment
