Our client is a small boutique law firm with a focus on union-side labor law, and employee benefits. This firm is currently seeking to hire an employee benefits practitioner with 3-5 years experience, to service their clients and grow with the firm. This firm counsels clients on Multiemployer Pension Plans and Health & Welfare Plans; Single Employer Plans; Annuity Plans; 401k Plans; Severance Plans; and Non-Profit Organizations.

The focus of the position will include the following:

Plan Documents, Plan Amendments & Summary Plan Descriptions

Plan Governance & Fiduciary Matters

Compliance Audits (IRS & DOL)

Benefit Issues in Collective Bargaining

Plan Mergers & Investments

Reporting and Disclosure; Plan Filings


Service Provider Contracts

*While Employee Benefits experience is preferred, the client may consider a labor attorney with 3-5 years of experience, and strong written work product.
