Oldham County, TX (December 29, 2019) A fatal head-on collision happened on RM 1061 on the morning of December 27th. According to reports, a Toyota Camry was headed westbound while a Jeep Grand Cherokee was headed eastbound. The Camry ended up on the wrong side of the road and crashed head-on with the Jeep. The impact of the accident caused both vehicles to end up in ditches. The accident happened at around 11:30 a.m.
When the paramedics arrived, they found a passenger inside of the Jeep critically injured. They rushed her to the hospital for treatment, but she did not survive her injuries. She has been identified as 38-year-old Tara Marsh. Three other people were also injured and rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The major collision is still being investigated by authorities.
