Car Accidents in Texas
Unfortunately, an average of 3,000 people sustain fatal injuries in Car Accidents every year in Texas. Studies also show that the leading cause of car accidents in Texas is speeding, which causes over 100,000 car accidents annually. Drivers who speed are usually in a rush for emergency purposes, or in a rush because they are frustrated with traffic. Another reason drivers speed is due to being under the influence, which often occurs Friday through Sunday between the hours of midnight and 6:00 a.m. No matter the reason, speeding puts drivers and others at risk of being seriously hurt or losing their lives.
