Collins County, TX (May 1, 2019) – On Sunday, April 28, around 7 p.m., Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a rollover crash on the President George Bush Turnpike.
According to reports, Serena Thompson was traveling along the turnpike with her two children, 3-year-old Jordyn Love and 4-year-old Julian were cut off by a vehicle on the roadway. After being cut off, Ms. Thompson turned the wheel of her vehicle quickly, causing her silver car to go off the roadway and hit a metal barrier.
Jordan Love was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. Julian Love was admitted into Medical City Dallas where he remains sedated. Serena Thompson was admitted into Medical City Plano, where she remains receiving treatment for her injuries.
DPS continues to investigate the incident and is trying to locate the driver who cut Ms. Thompson off on the roadway.
