Houston, TX (May 1, 2019) – Around 11 a.m., on April 30, Houston Police responded to the scene of a collision at the SGT Washateria in the 9900 block of Fondren Road.
According to reports, a driver in a Lincoln sedan was attempting to reverse slowly at the laundromat when they accidentally applied the gas and reversed deep into the laundromat.
The impact of the collision caused metal, pieces of wood, and glass to fly around inside the building. Some of the debris thrown around inside struck a woman inside her leg. The woman was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment for her injuries.
