While these issues may be inconvenient during warmer weather, they can be hazardous during the winter; the last thing you want is to end up stuck on the side of the road during a thunderstorm or snowstorm. Flush and Refill Your Cooling System While Testing Your Heater

Add De-Icer to Your Fuel Line

De-icer is exceptionally important if your vehicle will be out in the cold -- and you can never know when the temperature may plummet overnight. De-icer will prevent your fuel line from freezing, which can cause serious damage.

Get Your Battery Checked

Batteries can become weak, but still function -- and then they can fail when they are put under additional strain, leaving you potentially stranded. In addition to getting your Battery Checked, you may also want to get a small battery jumper that you can store in your trunk. This way you won't need to use another vehicle to jump your car if you do get stuck somewhere.

Replace Your Car Tires
