Zumper Cleveland Market Demand Report: March 2016

This Zumper Market Demand Report studied several thousand emails and calls (inquiries) to rental properties in Cleveland to determine renter interest.

Cleveland March 2016 In Demand

Nearly tied, both one and three Bedroom Units had the most renter interest this month. One bedroom units generated 31% of inquiries at a median inquiry price of $530 while three bedroom units produced 30% of inquiries at a median of $750. Two bedroom units were the next most in demand with 23% of inquiries at a median price of $610.

Studios and four bedroom units commanded the least amount of renter interest. Studios generated 7% of inquiries at a median price of $450 while four bedrooms produced 9% of inquiries at $900.

2. Buckeye – Shaker
3. Detroit – Shoreway
4. Edgewater
5. Puritas – Longmead
6. Downtown Cleveland
7. Tremont
8. Mount Pleasant
9. Jefferson
10. Kamms Corners

West side neighborhood Old Brooklyn is Cleveland’s most in demand neighborhood this month, sending 10% more inquiries than second place, Buckeye – Shaker.


The Zumper Market Demand Report analyzes every call and email sent in a month to determine renter interest. Neighborhoods are ranked by total inquiries generated to determine the top 10 most in demand areas. Inquiries are also separated into bedroom type, along with each corresponding median inquiry price, to provide the most in-demand bedroom units and prices.
