There is a place that exists where a Table is just a table. You have four legs, a top, and some sort of rubber foot or wheel. Perhaps you are there now, and are thinking “that sounds about right to me.” Unfortunately, I have bad news for you. While that land does exist, it is not real. I equate it to being in The Matrix. You know that Keanu Reeves movie where he exists, but is in a fictional world? He ultimately is supposed to be the savior of said fictional world; while the real world has been taken over by machines. Yeah, that’s the one. “Unfortunately, no one can be told what The Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself.” – Morpheus
Now that you have awoken, let me show you the truth. Tables are much more than you could have ever imagined. Every table has its own purpose, and its own lifeline. Some tables are meant to be sturdy and able to withstand anything you throw at them; some tables are meant to hold up against chemicals that would eat through any other surface; and some tables are meant to be quick and agile so they can move quickly to any place needed.
Sturdy tables are built to last a lifetime. They can be configured with stainless steel, maple wood, or epoxy resin; and hold up to 5,000 lbs. You could even choose to have them anchored into the ground for maximum stability. It’s not like you would ever want to do something as pointless as land a helicopter on a couple of them, but you could rest assured that you physically are safe if you needed to work on something heavy.
I could continue on and on about the variety of different things that can be done to a table, but I think my mission is complete. I wanted to pull you out of the world you knew and bring down the rabbit hole to a new world where tables are able to be what you need, and not just four legs and a top. Feel free to explore this world more and check out our Wet Lab Tables, Science Tables, Instrumentation Carts, Balance Tables, Microscope Tables, Adjustable Height Tables, Heavy Duty Tables, Custom Tables, and our ProteusLabTM Table.
