Like rosemary, mint is also handy as an insect repellent and in the kitchen. You can add a pot to your patio to keep mosquitos away and, if you like, you can even use fresh mint to make a mouthwash. Rinse with some mint and your fresh breath will help keep those thirsty bugs away. Mint is also great in various cocktails and as a garnish on many different dishes.
