There are just 2 months until BIBA. The annual gathering of the British Insurance Brokers Association is a major event in the exhibition calendar. For the second year running, the event is being held at Manchester Central.

Although BIBA is primarily aimed at brokers, it usually draws attendees from across the entire insurance spectrum. Last year, attendees described it as “an essential opportunity to get together, as an industry and as a collaborative community” and “an excellent opportunity to meet many different insurers.”
The theme of this year’s event is ‘Rising to the Challenge.’ It’s a theme that speaks of how the insurance industry is continuing to respond to global as well as UK-centric events: how geopolitics is experiencing a demanding time as the war in Ukraine wages into a second year; how a mild winter across Europe may be setting the stage for a summer of record-breaking heatwaves and drought conditions.
But the theme also reminds us of the obstacles that we’ve overcome in the recent past: the pandemic, the financial crisis and rising interest rates, and maybe (now that the Windsor agreement is on the verge of being implemented) even Brexit.
For brandformula, BIBA is now firmly established as a centrepiece of the insurance year. It’s a chance for us to demonstrate how our brand development and event planning can help our clients to shine and reach new audiences.
The old adage talks about how first impressions last. Brandformula brings an established pedigree and track record of helping companies to break the ice and generate new business. Additionally, our stands are built by local artisans and craftsmen to empower the local economy and cut down on unnecessary travel miles.
For those companies looking to network, meet new customers and make business away from the exhibition venue, brandformula’s events team is once again co-ordinating receptions and get-togethers. Last year, as face-to-face meetings returned, our events were well attended and led to millions of pounds worth of new business transactions.
