Our Stanton’s team is known throughout the music industry as “The Sheet Music Specialists,” and for good reason – our staff is made up of educated, experienced, and dedicated musicians in all areas of the music realm. In this series, we invite you to learn about our staff members on an individual level. We hope you will get to know the “real” us, and learn how we might better be of service to you!

After 15 years in the Music instrument retail industry, Liz Troyer joined the Stanton’s team in 2014 as part of the Accounting and Shipping department. Native to the Akron area, she followed a rich family tradition and attended The Ohio State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Music Education degree.

Outside of Stanton’s, she can usually be found behind a piano as an in-demand accompanist for various ensembles, soloists, schools, churches, and theaters in the Greater Columbus area.

In what free time she has, she can be found out at a local brewery with friends, on a yoga mat, snuggled on the couch with her cat, Thelonious, knitting any number of projects, or at her new pandemic hobby – making yarn at her spinning wheel!
