Boat Bios. Hurricane

Welcome to Boat Bios. We wanted to introduce you to each of the boats we offer and why our team loves them. Whilst they are all different in build and character they were all built for one purpose, scuba diving! Each boat is designed with divers in mind, coupled with an experienced crew and fabulous locations make them the ultimate scuba diving experience. So let’s start with one of our favourites. Hurricane.

Hurricane is part of the Tornado fleet and operates in the Southern Egyptian Red Sea, she measures a whopping 36m in length. She has 11 cabins split over 2 decks with plenty of space for kitting up and relaxation. She’s a very popular boat and takes our divers on a variety of different itineraries throughout the season encountering the diverse sea life the south has to offer.

We love Hurricane at Scuba Travel she is very popular with our staff and clients alike and offers a great base for diving. Many of our customers return to Hurricane year upon year.

What we think about Hurricane

Martin Nordin our OP’s Manager is on Hurricane at least once per year. He loves to go around May/June time for the chance see hammerheads and whitetips. Martin also says
“Whilst I really like Daedalus, Elphinstone and St Johns it’s the Brothers islands that are on top of my list. Ascending down on the northern tip of Big Brother and then slowly drift along the wall to the boat is, in my opinion, one of the best dives you can do in the Red Sea”

If you haven’t experienced Hurricane yet, or you have and want to go again we are offering £0 deposits for selected trips. Please follow the link for more info.
