Apple iOS: Apple has released updates for iOS. Updates are available through the device or through Apple’s website.
Apple iTunes: Apple has released version 12.5.4 (64-bit and 32-bit) of iTunes. Updates are available from Apple’s website.
Apple tvOS: Apple has released updates to tvOS. Updates are available from Apple’s website.
Apple watchOS: Apple has released updates to watchOS. Updates are available from Apple’s website.
Avira Free Antivirus: Avira has released version 15.0.24.146 of its free Antivirus. Updates are available from Avira’s website.
Dropbox: Dropbox has released version 16.4.29 for its file hosting program. Updates are available at Dropbox’s website. [See Citadel’s warning below]
Foxit Reader: Foxit has released version 8.1.4.1208 of its Reader. Updates are available on Foxit Software’s website.
Google Chrome: Google has released Google Chrome version 55.0.2883.87. Updates are available from within the browser or from Google Chrome’s website.
Google Drive: Google has released version 1.32.4066.7445 of its Google Drive. Updates are available from Google’s website.
LastPass: LastPass has released version 4.1.34. Updates are available from LastPass’ website.
Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit: Malwarebytes has released version 1.09.1.1291 of its free Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit. Updates are available from Malwarebytes’ website.
Microsoft Patch Tuesday: Microsoft’s Patch Tuesday released 12 updates to address at least 42 vulnerabilities, some of which are highly critical within Windows operating systems, Internet Explorer, Office, and other Microsoft products. Additional details are available at Microsoft’s website.
Mozilla Firefox: Mozilla has released version 50.1.0. Updates are available within the browser or from Mozilla’s website.
Opera: Opera has released version 42.0.2393.85. Updates are available from within the browser or from Opera’s website.
Piriform CCleaner: Piriform has released version 5.25.5902 for CCleaner. Updates are available from Piriform’s website.
Siber Systems RoboForm: Siber Systems has released version 7.9.25 of Roboform. Updates are available from within the program, look for the “Check New Version” button on the Options menu or download from the Roboform website.
Viber: Viber has released version 6.5.3 for Windows. Updates are available on Viber’s website.

Cyber criminals take over user computers by writing computer programs that “exploit” vulnerabilities in operating systems (Windows, Apple OS, etc) and application programs (Adobe Acrobat, Office, Flash, Java, etc). When software companies find a vulnerability, they usually issue an update patch to fix the code running in their customer’s computers.
