This Summer we visited the 589 Jack Pine trees we planted in Michigan in 2009. We were glad to see the 3 year old trees thriving, and growing strong to provide renewed habitat for the endangered Kirtland’s Warbler.
This small area in Huron-Manistee National Forest is one of only a few places on earth where the birds can make their nests, so our restoration project was a great help to these little critters.
Thank you for your continued support~ giving a Tree Gift really does make an impact on the entire forest ecosystem.
