BJP MLA Sadhana Singh apologies for her comments on Mayawati

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Mla Sadhana Singh on Sunday issued an apology for her comments on BSP supremeo Mayawati. Singh stirred a controversy by calling Mayawati “worse than eunuch” and even said that she does not regret her statement as the BSP chief had “forgotten her disrespect for political gains”.

She, however, issued an apology later, saying her remarks were only meant to remind Mayawati of the support BJP provided to her during the infamous guest house incident of 1995.

While addressing a public meeting Singh said that Mayawati neither looks like a man nor a woman. The statement has sparked outrage among BSP leaders who said that BJP leaders have stooped to a new low.

Reacting to Sadhana Singh’s statement, BSP leader Satish Chandra Mishra said that the choice of words by the BJP legislator shows the level of BJP. He said that after the announcement of this coalition (SP-BSP), BJP leaders have lost their mental balance and they should be admitted to mental hospitals in Agra and Bareilly. He said that BJP does not have strength to win even a single seat in the upcoming elections and is terrified by the alliance of SP and BSP.
