University College London against academic fraud
After registration, the school verifies the authenticity of the data entered into the system and commits a Bitcoin transaction confirming the authenticity of the information about the student.
Further, the graduate gets a QR-code, which can be placed on CV-documents, business cards or in a profile. Thus, the employer will be able to scan the code and check the data on the applicant’s education.
According to the co-founder of the company, Cedric Kolle, academic fraud is currently a problem requiring a global solution. The goal of the project, according to his statement, is to easily and reliably check the qualifications everywhere, reports Bitcoin.com
