The Coffee application Starbucks is considering the possibility of transition to the technology of blockade. This was reported by the head of the company Howard Schultz. He noted that along with the implementation of the block , the possibility of payment by crypto-currencies will be implemented , which will increase the usability of the project for users, and simultaneously raise the level of the society’s loyalty to digital currencies.
At the same time, Starbucks notes that they do not plan to invest in creating their own blockbuster or tokens. Schultz is sure that Bitcoin can not be attributed to traditional currencies, both now and in the future. Therefore, there is no sense in such investments in the company.
The top manager suggested that on the basis of the blockade today there are prospects for creating a new crypto currency, oriented primarily to meet the daily consumer needs.
In turn, Starbucks has the potential to create a platform that allows companies represented in this market segment to gain new opportunities and benefits by switching to digital financial technologies for payments by ordinary users.
Most likely, the first shops that work only with non-cash payments will appear in the United States, since it is here that at least 30% of all payments are made today by bank transfer.
