GAcprclasses.com offers American Heart Association Workplace Cpr Certification Classes near Atlanta, Georgia. Classes are scheduled 7 days a week at one of three local offices located in Conyers, Marietta, and at Emory University.  We understand that everyone’s time is important and taking time off for training is not always easy, so we offer a lot of options to try and accommodate anyone’s schedule.

Speaking of saving time, new online learning options are available for most classes.  The AHA has taken the video parts of class and made them accessible online.  This allows the student to do a large part of the work from home.  You still have to come into the office and demonstrate on the manikins, but you will only be in office for 45 minutes because you complete so much of the work at home.  Online Elearning options cover the same material as the classroom option, issues the exact same certification card, and allows you to work at your own pace.

1.  Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) Class

• Intended For:  Physician Assistants, Physicians, Dentists, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nursing Students, Paramedics, Firefighters, and others who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course for work.

2.  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Class

• Intended For:  Health care professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.  This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics.
• Offices:  Emory -or- Marietta
• Online Option: Blended Learning, the student watches the videos and takes an assessment test prior to coming in for class.  This cuts down on the time needed for class and allows the instructor to cater more to the students needs during class based on the results from the assessment test.

3.  Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Class

• Intended For:  Pediatricians, Physician Assistants (PA), Respiratory Therapists, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, ER, Family Physicians, other physicians and others who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a class that is required to initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.

4.  Heartsaver First Aid Class

• Intended For:  This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

5.  Heartsaver CPR AED Class

• Intended For:  Teachers (for clear credentials), summer camp counselors, coaches, fitness instructors for ACE exams, maritime (US Coast Guard approved), nannies, parents, grandparents, babysitters (ten years or older), general workplace, and others who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.

9.  Bloodborne Pathogens

• Intended For:  Correctional Officer, Childcare Workers, Security Guards, Maintenance Workers, School Personnel, Hotel Housekeepers, Health and Fitness Staff, Tattoo Artists, and others who must have a credential card documenting successful completion of training involving bloodborne pathogens.  Meets OSHA requirements.
• Offices:  Completed ALL online – Print your own card when finished.
