Land is one of the greatest assets, the world has ever known, not just due to its immense value it confers on the owner, but also, the emotional security it gives him/her. The words of Charles Dudley in the above quote attest to the accuracy of what I just said here.
We all know that as human beings, after a long period of hard work, we all wish to settle down in our own home, or perhaps, purchase a land of our own, in readiness to build our dream mansion for residential and/or possibly commercial purposes.
That is the ultimate dream of most people who wish to achieve fulfilment in life. They know that getting to be owners of landed property is one sure way to be made for life.
At the risk of stating the obvious, there is the need for us to take concrete steps to secure our future, against any unplanned financial crisis – which does occasionally crop up in the lives of most people. We all know this, but only a few of us take action to prepare ourselves for such eventualities.
This reminds me of the case of an old client who acquired two landed properties from me, in one of our luxurious estates.
At a point, she was unable to continue with the monthly payments due to unexpected financial challenges that came up. But contrary to what most people would have expected, she was able to eventually complete her payments for the two Plots.
