MIAMI – Take me out to the ballgame!

Florida Fine Cars did just that in August when the used car giant donated five tickets to the Miami Marlins vs. San Francisco Giants game as part of an ongoing effort to give back to the community. Two lucky customers went home HAPPY!

But the family-owned dealership didn’t simply give the tickets away. The winners had to first find them by participating in scavenger hunts at the Hollywood and Miami dealerships where the tickets had been concealed.

“We had the tickets well hidden in the showrooms in Miami and Hollywood,” explained Florida Fine Cars social media guru Cesar Pentzke.

In Hollywood, two tickets had been hidden in the manager’s podium near a plate of cookies. In Miami, three other tickets had been stuffed into a flowerpot in the center of the showroom in Miami.

The Miami winner couldn’t stop smiling after he found the hidden tickets.

“I’m going to give one of the tickets to my friend. She lost her father last night,” he said moments after winning. “I think it’s destiny for me to take her and just warm her heart up. Thank you Florida Fine Cars, thank you very, very much!”

Pentze and sales associate Kelly Wallace hyped the giveway on social media to drum up interest, then sat back and watched the fun.

“It was a great time,” Pentzke said.”We went around the dealerships seeking Marlins fans and then let them know there were tickets hidden in the dealerships”
