If you have no interest in Brambleton, that is okay. What happens in Brambleton affects the surrounding areas making the lives of locals better. As their massive community continues to develop the local roads and amenities continue to improve.
Good things transpired within the past few weeks when the Loudoun Board Of Supervisors approved a Development package that will begin taking effect soon.
Here are a improvements that will make life better for all of us…
- A new gas station. – Actually a big deal if you live in Southern Ashburn. We will now have… TWO!!! Woo hoo!
- A public library similar to the Gum Spring Library in Aldie.
- An elementary, middle, and high school. – I know adding schools in our area sucks because of re-zoning. However, it is the burden of growth.
- Accelerated construction on Creighton and Evergreen Mills Road.
The cost of improvements are estimated at around $35 Million. There are improvements that will only help Brambleton residents that I did not note. I am not sure $35 Million is realistic which would leave the taxpayer footing the bill for the schools.
