October 2018 is Black History Month. This is a national celebration and aims to promote and celebrate Black contributions to British society, and to foster an understanding of Black history in general. The Liverpool Black Community is distinguished from others by its continuity, some black Liverpudlians being able to trace their roots in Liverpool for as many as ten generations. This
