Greg Lake Releases Two-CD Set Featuring First Two Solo Albums Plus Bonus Tracks

Manticore RecordsA two-CD Set Featuring remastered versions of founding Emerson, Lake and Palmer and King Crimson singer Greg Lake's first two solo albums is available now as an import release. The collection includes 1981's self-titled effort and 1983's Manoeuvres, as well as four rare bonus tracks.

Lake recorded the Greg Lake album with most of the members of Toto, while one-time Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore contributed to the project as well. Moore also is featured on Manoeuvres.

As for the four bonus tracks, three come from the Greg Lake sessions and one is an outtake from Manoeuvres. These recordings only have been available previously on separate rarities collections.

The two-set also comes with a booklet featuring extensive liner notes.

In other news, earlier this month, Lake was presented with an honorary degree from the Conservatorio Nicolini in Piacenza, Italy, marking the first time that the university ever awarded an honorary music degree to anyone.
