Steven Tyler to Perform on “The Tonight Show” This Evening

Credit: Zack WhitfordTune in to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this evening to check out a performance by Steven Tyler. You can expect the Aerosmith frontman to sing something from his country-flavored debut solo album, We're All Somebody from Somewhere.

Actors Miles Teller and Keri Russell also will appear on this evening's episode of The Tonight Show, which airs on NBC at 11:35 p.m. ET/10:35 p.m. CT.

We're All Somebody from Somewhere debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart last week, and currently is at #3 on the tally.

The album includes a new version of the Aerosmith classic "Janie's Got a Gun." The surviving members of the modern-rock act Stone Temple Pilots -- guitarist Dean DeLeo, bassist Robert DeLeo and drummer Eric Kretz -- have revealed in a post on their group's official website that they backed Tyler on that recording. STP shared photos from their 2015 studio session with Tyler, and wrote in a caption, "What a beautiful day we all had in the studio. Steven is electric. No one better!!! Fer real!!! Hope ya dig the track."

Tyler currently is on the road on his …Out on a Limb solo tour, which runs through a September 13 concert in Toronto.
