Multi-alarm Fire Hits Public Storage Facility In Burien Thursday Morning

A multi-alarm commercial fire hit a Public Storage facility in Burien Thursday morning, July 28.

The blaze struck a single unit at a facility located at 17800 Des Moines Memorial Drive (map below) at around 8 a.m.

Units from Burien/Normandy Park as well as Renton responded to the incident.

“The Fire was contained to one storage unit,” Fire Chief Mike Marrs told The B-Town Blog. “It’s under investigation now, but nothing looks suspicious.”

No injuries were reported.
