It is often said that the mystery of Easter is so big that it needs Holy Week to fully experience.
Normandy Park United Church of Christ invites you to enter into the mystery starting on April 18, 2019 with a Maundy Thursday Worship beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Maundy Thursday marks the beginning of Christ’s journey to the cross with remembrance of the last supper. Communion will be served.
On Good Friday – April 19 – the congregation will enjoy a movie and pizza night featuring “Jesus Christ Superstar” in Fellowship Hall. Pizza and drinks will be provided. Attendees can feel free to bring additional food to share and are welcome to bring some pillows and blankets to get comfy while you enjoy the show.
As the joy of Easter breaks this coming Sunday, April 21, come celebrate with Normandy Park United Church of Christ. Worship begins at 10 a.m. and will be followed by a reception featuring hot cross buns and an Easter Egg Hunt for kids on the church grounds. All are welcome!
