After being located at 431 SW Ambaum Blvd. SW for 50 years, Southwest Suburban Sewer District’s Administrative Office will be moving into its new facility at 17840 Des Moines Memorial Drive South (map below).
The District Administrative Office will be closed on Thursday, May 10 and Friday, May 11, but will be back open for business at the new location on Monday, May 14.
NOTE: During the move, the District Phone System and Online Bill Pay System will be DOWN as they move these services over to the new location.
In addition, after being located at an old, under-sized building located at the Miller Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant for more than 60 years, the Sewer Maintenance staff and equipment will also be moving into the new facility.
“We are very excited about having all of our customer service staff located at one location and being able to provide improved services to all of the District’s rate payers,” General Manager Ron Hall said. “The District’s new facility has been designed to improve efficiencies in all areas of customer service and we very much look forward to better serving you.”
