Auditions for the Hi-Liners’ MainStage Production of ‘Into the Woods’ will be held on Thursday, May 10.
James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone’s favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece… and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.
Should I Audition?
Our MainStage productions are exciting and always unique! This Production will feature cast members who play instruments and a musical director playing onstage with the actors (when he’s not stepping away from the piano to take a turn at playing a role!)
This sounds hard…
Don’t worry. You don’t have to be able to play an instrument. With a forest full of characters, and mysterious woodland spirits and nymphs adding a particularly magical feel, there are opportunities for everyone willing to go Into the Woods with The Hi‑Liners!
What about older students?
College students and young adult actors who exhibit an advanced level of performing ability and training can be considered for Guest Artist positions in the cast, which include a scholarship.
