The Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce’s April Luncheon – set for Friday, April 14 at the Embassy Suites in Tukwila – will focus on tourism, with a presentation by the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority (RTA).
This luncheon will feature keynote speaker Katherine Kertzman, President/CEO of Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority, who will discuss the regional economic impacts on travel and the importance of tourism as part of a “kick-off” to National Travel and Tourism Week, May 7-13, 2017.
This luncheon will also feature a panel discussion and Q&A with the leadership team from the RTA.
“Travel and tourism supports over 7.6 million jobs across the nation, including many right here in our region,” Kertzman said. “Last year alone we saw over 1.5M visitors spend $693.6M in the Seattle Southside region. Also, for every dollar spent by the RTA, over $40 came back into the local economy. We are gathering to celebrate the benefits of travel in our community and our local economy, we hope you join us.”
WHEN: The luncheon will be held on Friday, April 14th, from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
WHERE: Embassy Suites, located at 15920 W. Valley Hwy., Tukwila.
COST: Lunch is $25 for Members who register before April 7th or $35 paid after or at the door. Non-members are always welcome to attend any Chamber event, please contact the Chamber office for non-member pricing.
